OLD...update!!

Salam people!

I know it's been ages since the previous post. Thanks for the frequent visitors who are kind enough to pop in here and finding out that there's no new update.. ngehehe. The reason is as usual, I'm too lazy to write.

But I'll made up to you guys by first telling you this amusing story of my embarrassing moment I had on the bus just now.

On the way back from uni, I got on the bus that was quiet full. Lucky enough I got a place at front the bus and sit comfortably. Then, the bus went to pick up more passengers including this one lady in her 60's (I think). She has fake blonde hair and was wearing this huge funky sunnies, with a tight pants and stylish white top, oh not forgetting to mention the striking makeup-a bright red lips and thick foundation-covered skin. So, with that look she doesn't seem to be like 60 years old. As there are no seat left, she had to stand and later, tried to sit in the box behind the driver (a place for passengers to put luggages or whatsoever). Since I was sitting close to where she was sitting I decided to got up and offer her my seat. The place she was sitting was obviously not comfortable to sit on. And me, trying to do some 'amal jariah' in this holy month of Ramadhan wouldn't mind to stand for a few minutes before reaching my stop.

Myself: "Do you want to have a seat?" (With a swweeeet smile, mind you)

Lady: "Oooh, that's fine. This place I'm sitting is the easiest to get out of the way."

Myself: "Are you sure? You can have the seat if you want."

Lady: "Yes! I NEVER had anyone offered me a seat before." (In a very loud voice)

" I MUST BE VERY OLD!!"

(A loud statement that can be heard by the whole bus, except the people on their iPODs, obviously)

BANGGG.... It felt like a bullet just go straight into the brain.Gosh, I can feel every eyes are on me at that time. It was totally embarrassing. She might have thought I'd offered her seat because she seems old and pretty sad bout this situation.

I should have known she would say that. Her looks already implementing that she doesn't like to be perceived as old. And yet, somebody offered her a seat like an old lady!
But one thing for sure, I didn't offer her the seat because she was old but the fact she was sitting in the luggage box, for crying out loud!

I was there thinking, 'Gosh, this people, can they just accept that they are people that are trying to be nice to them??'

I went back to sit and don't bother to offer anyone else a seat.
What a day!!
